A guarantor, usually a parent, must be a person over the age of 21 with a valid driver's license, who agrees to be responsible if you are ever unable to fulfill the financial obligations of your housing agreement. It is similar to having a co-signer. Please provide the information below for the person who you expect to serve as your guarantor. Please note, the guarantor must sign the separate Continuing Guaranty Agreement.
Applicant understands that if, at any time, there are vacant bedrooms in the applicant's assigned apartment, and Edgewood Commons staff reserves the right to assign roommates without prior notice and/or relocate the applicant to another unit. Applicant further understands that roommate compatibility is not guaranteed.
Applicant represents that all of the above information is true and complete and authorizes the verification of same by reasonable means. Any misrepresentation or omission may be cause for the rejection of this application and/or the termination of the Resident Housing Contract. Applicant further authorizes free exchange of information between Frostburg State University and Capstone Management, including but not limited to the applicant's student status, academic records, judicial records, and financial records to be used to determine whether this application shall be approved or disapproved.
Applicant understands and agrees that a non-refundable administrative fee of $150.00 is required to reserve a space in Edgewood Commons, and failure or refusal to provide this fee may result in the cancellation of this application and any resultant Resident Housing Contract.
Applicant understands that a financially responsible Guarantor (cannot be the applicant themselves) is required for the completion of the sign-up process, and that failure or refusal to provide a Guarantor may result in the cancellation of this application and any resultant Resident Housing Contract.
Applicant understands that an activity fee of $50 is due with the first contract payment per semester. This fee will be used to support programming efforts of the Edgewood Commons Staff and also provide funds for updating equipment used by Edgewood Commons Residents (vacuums, billiards and media room equipment, fitness facility improvements, and weekly free community programs).
