Equal Housing Opportunity. We are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the Nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.
The Americans with Disability Act (ADA) prohibits discriminatory actions with respect to the design, construction, and operation of residential facilities. As such, reasonable efforts must be made to accommodate accessibility needs. In accordance with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (UFAS), a certain percentage of units must be made available for persons with mobility impairments. Please be advised that unless you've selected your space during Re-Leasing (for returning residents only) you may be assigned to a unit with features designed for persons with mobility impairments. Those with mobility impairments may have the shower curbs in these units removed upon request. All corner apartments on the First Floor are ADA compliant and are designed with features for persons with mobility impairments.
Smoke-Free Campus. Towson University strives to create a Clean, Safe, Pretty and Happy campus environment, and we believe that all members of the campus community are entitled to clean air. The smoke-free campus policy went into affect August 1, 2010, thereby designating all property owned and operated by Towson University as smoke-free. More information is available at http://www.towson.edu/main/lifetu/health/smokefree/.
Reserving Your Space / Cancellations. This Application is for a space within the building and does not guarantee a specific apartment or bedroom. To secure a place, applicants are required to complete all licensing paperwork and submit a Reservation Fee when submitting the Housing License. The Reservation Fee will be applied to the first rental payment. A cancellation fee will be assessed when cancellation requests are approved (cancellation fees are posted in the Housing License). Residents are financially responsible for the Housing License unless the cancellation request has been approved.
Parking. Because Millennium Hall has 180 parking spaces and 420 residents, priority is first given to residents who lived with us during the previous academic year and renewed their housing. The cost of a Millennium Hall Parking Permit is not included in the rental rate.
